Meet Angela Fera, Mission Specialist
Angela Fera, Mission Specialist, looking and smiling at camera with brown hair and a black shirt and green trees behind her
Angela Fera, Mission Specialist

Angela joined our HeroFundUSA, Inc. Team on April 20th as our Mission Specialist. In her new role with HFUSA Angela will be learning all aspects of the First-Responder Safety mission of our organization. Angela comes to us with a lengthy background as a communications industry executive, Paramedic and Hospital EMS Liaison.

Angela brings her passion for helping others to our cause and is already proving

effective in further-advancing our support to many First-Responder Departments

and Agencies nationwide. She is already actively involved in new sponsor/support

recruitment and in communicating the importance of our mission to many corporations, businesses, community groups, medical professionals and civic groups. Please join us in welcoming

Angela to the HFUSA ‘family’!

HFUSA Board Approves Funding For Eight (8) More Departments' Safety Needs

(March 8, 2022, Kansas City, Missouri). HeroFundUSA, Inc.’s Na􀆟onal Board of Directors unanimously approved funding for new, state-of-the-art SAFETY equipment for eight (8) Departments during their Q1, 2022 mee􀆟ng. Items approved include for Fire Fighters-- turnout gear, SCBA equipment, ballistic helmets & vests, thermal imagers and gas monitors and for Law Enforcement Officers – stop sticks and tasers. Of course, in keeping with our ‘all funds raised locally, stay local’ policy, since the approval of this equipment we are in the process of seeking funding resources and partners in meeting our financial commitment for this equipment in these local areas ranging from Florida, Connecticut, Michigan, Illinois and, of course, Missouri & Kansas. Since the Board meeting, we’ve received eight additional requests we are currently vetting through our approval process…more about these later.

Safety equipment items like these are at the core of the First-Responder SAFETY mission of HeroFundUSA, Inc. and we are seeking partners to help us keep our local HEROES safe Nationwide. If you are affiliated with any organization or business that has a presence Nationwide or at least regionally, please call us so we can discuss partnership opportunities.

Tiger Bowl Raises Over $1,400 for Local Heroes!

Tiger Bowl was the place to be on a cold January 29th in Excelsior Springs, Missouri as folks gathered to raise funds in support of keeping our local heroes safe. Jerry and Teresa Ferrell along with Dewayne Day hosted their 3rd Annual 9-Pin Tap Tournament and raised over $1400 in support of the First-Responder Safety mission of HeroFundUSA, Inc. Besides some great bowling there were some fantastic 'silent' auction items, great food and fun for all.

We thank Jerry, Teresa and Dewayne for their continued, enthusiastic support of our local Fire Fighters, Law Enforcement Officers and Emergency Medical Services personnel.
